Goodbye Past, Hello Future

First, I want to start out by saying Merry Christmas to all of you taking time out of your day to read this! I hope you are enjoying your time with your families and making some amazing memories with them.
Secondly, we will get to the point of this whole blog. 2019 is approaching quickly and a lot will be going on in the Donovan Household. A lot to where I feel Facebook doesn’t need to be a part of! So early 2019 I will be deactivating my Facebook account but ill still have messenger if you need to talk to me. Another reason I’m quitting Facebook is, I’m tired of my timeline being full of political bullshit and arguments, vaccine arguments and unfriendly people in general. I don’t associate myself with a political party but I do have my opinions on how our country is ran whether its going in a good direction or bad. I vaccinate my children! That’s mine and Scott’s decision. As a parent if you choose to vaccinate or not that is ENTIRELY your business but because I choose to vaccinate and keep my children “safe”, the ones who don’t please don’t sit there and attack me for doing something I believe is right for my children because I will NEVER argue with you why you should or shouldn’t vaccinate your children. Again, it’s YOUR decision and your family’s business. And thirdly, I’m a mother of 3 and don’t have time to read the drama or be apart of any drama.
Before Scott deployed, Facebook consumed me and the hours of the day, so I decided to take a break from it and focus on our family before he left and it was the best thing ever. With his return coming up soon, I need to step back from social media and focus on our integration and the well being of my family. No one will know Scott’s return until we are ready for everyone to know. We’ve been apart for 7/8 months with a new baby in the mix and the kids will just need some daddy time. So please respect this.
Like I said IM GIVING UP Facebook! I can’t speak for Scott and what he’ll do because that’s his decision. But I plan to blog our big adventures and our year instead of posting all over Facebook! So, you can choose to follow it or not.

Sending lots of love and holiday wishes

Ashleigh
